Fermi Summer School
The 2024 Fermi Summer School will run from May 28 through June 7 at the University of Delaware Conference Center in Lewes, Delaware. Registration is open and the application deadline is February 9, 2024.
The 2023 Fermi Summer School is an in-person event. This will be the 12th year that the Fermi Mission, in partnership with the University of Delaware, has organized a workshop designed to support graduate students and post docs getting started with Fermi, gamma-ray astrophysics and related topics. In 2023, we are excited to celebrate the 15th anniversary of the launch that began Fermi’s scientific journey. The school run from May 30 through June 9 at the University of Delaware Conference Center in Lewes, Delaware.

2024 Fermi Symposium
The 11th International Fermi Symposium will be in the Washington DC area from September 9 to the 13, 2024.
Previous Fermi Symposium
The 10th International Fermi Symposium was held in Johannesburg, South Africa, from October 9 - 15, 2022. The symposium venue was Misty Hills Country Hotel, Conference Centre & Spa located on the outskirts of the city of Johannesburg. Information for the symposium is available on the following webpage: https://indico.cern.ch/event/1091305/. Abstract submission deadline: July 31, 2022 extended to August 8, 2022.
The 9th International Fermi Symposium, in light of the development of COVID-19 around the globe and measured steps taken by governments to reopen countries only slowly, run fully virtual on April 12-17, 2021. Registration and accommodation fees paid to the venue for the 9th International Fermi Symposium, because of contractual obligation, will be used for a future in-person meeting at the Misty Hills in Johannesburg, South Africa. Those who have already paid will receive credit toward that event. If you have registered and paid the fees for the 9th International Fermi Symposium, you do not need to take further action. New participants will be contacted about registration for the virtual Symposium. Check the timetable here for the presentations and the recordings. Visit gather.town to look at the posters.
