We invite applications for a postdoctoral position in high-energy astrophysics. Deadline: 1 April 2021, 1:00PM CET.
The appointment is for a period of one year with possibility of extension depending on funding and performance. The starting date should be no later than 1 September 2021. Benefits are included.
Due to government restrictions caused by the pandemic the position is restricted to European citizens only. The successful candidate is expected to work on the gamma-ray emission from the quiet Sun observed by the Fermi LAT and/or on Galactic gamma-ray diffuse interstellar emissions. Holding a Ph.D. in Physics, Astrophysics, or related disciplines by the deadline is preferred. Candidates are expected to have experience in Python and/or C/C++.
